Synopsis:

„I had a night dream the people swarmed on the public square and pointed laughingly at me and I was filled with shame and fear“

“Echolalia” was an exhibition by Penny Yassour in Kunstverein Kassel in 2001. I found a situation in space, which for me is the articulation of a sentence and an emotion.
“VISITING THE DREAM OF ANOTHER“ is the transformation and re-presentation of this experience by the means of video. Only with the material found in the exhibition a new space is created. Hovering between memory and dream, the video reconstructs the painful obsession with an event that repeats itself again and again, yet remains strangely intangible.
